Light cake with lemon

Here is a delicious dessert with reduced fat content and low caloric that you can share without complex with your little family.


For 8 people

  • 4 eggs
  • 130 g of sugar
  • 80 g of butter
  • 120 g of flour
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • Juice and zest of a lemon


Separate the egg whites from the yolks. In a bowl, beat the yolks with the sugar and lemon until the mixture whitens. Add the melted butter, flour and yeast.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and gently add them to the mixture. Divide the dough into a buttered and floured baking tin.

Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C. Let the cake cool down and sprinkle with icing sugar.
